Computational Design

In recent years the tools used by engineers and architects to design buildings have changed. Influenced by developments in computational design, designers and manufacturers are now harnessing the power of the computer to explore the world beyond the boundaries imposed by traditional design approaches. In relation to design, computational design involves the processing of information and interactions between elements which constitute a project. By combining the principles of computational design with Building Information Modeling, a fundamentally new method of building design is made possible.
