The phenomenon of industry 4.0. and the changes that have affected the technological and productive sector are currently at the center of the economic-political, social and cultural debate in Italy and in the rest of Europe. We are witnessing a revolutionary change without comparisons, where each country through a specific action plan, is trying to adapt to the changes taking place, acquiring new qualifications in the digital and technological fields. European countries, now more than ever, need to allow the dissemination and use of ICT technologies, developing guidelines and procedures for interoperability between systems and overcoming the limits of data and information fragmentation.
After the positive closing of the first edition of the Digital&BIM Italy, the first national event aimed at tackling the issues related to the digitization of the construction sector, this year the second meeting will start again at the SAIE of Bologna on 17-19 October.
A few days ago, BIMon joined the community of IBIMI (Institute for Building Information Modeling – Italy) to support and promote BIM at a national level and actively contribute to the digital transformation of the construction world.
