Computational Designer
We are looking for someone to join the Automation and R&D team. You will work on computational design strategies and parametric and automated modelling with the architecture and MEP teams, and write custom scripts to optimise BIM processes.
What you will do
- Define computational design strategies for projects
- Develop parametric and automated modelling with the architecture and MEP teams
- Write custom scripts to optimise BIM processes
- Manage the data and information content of BIM models
What we look for
- Experience with computational design processes in architecture
- Experience managing the data and information content of a BIM model
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit and good knowledge of Dynamo
- Good knowledge of Python and the Revit API, including within Dynamo, or a strong will to learn them
- Strong interest in parametric 3D modelling
- Autonomy and a willingness to learn new processes
Nice to have
- Degree in building or civil engineering, architecture or computer science, with a strong interest in construction
- Previous experience writing custom scripts
- Knowledge of C#, or willingness to learn it
- Knowledge of current BIM regulations
