BIM Specialist MEP
We are looking for a BIM Specialist for design and construction processes in the building services disciplines. You will develop the MEP projects assigned to you and the related BIM work, coordinating with MEP designers and other disciplines.
What you will do
- Create MEP BIM models and model project information from bid to closeout
- Size and calculate MEP systems in the BIM environment, following the Senior Designers' criteria
- Develop models to company standards and the BIM requirements set by the BIM Coordinator
- Extract and process project data from the model in an organised way
- Produce drawings from the model: plans, sections, details
- Resolve clashes with other disciplines
- Attend and contribute to internal and external project meetings
What we look for
- Degree in engineering or a related subject, with a grade of at least 100/110
- At least 2 years in building services and 2 years in BIM MEP modelling
- Ability to read MEP drawings straight away
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit and good knowledge of AutoCAD
- Understanding of BIM processes and key information management documents
- Estimating software (Primus, Primus IFC, CPM)
- Microsoft Office and English at B2 level
- Autonomy, team spirit and a bent for coordination
